The Château de Bourneau Estate is located in the centre of the village of Bourneau at the following adress:

You can enter the property through the porch archway in the village of Bourneau (number 14, between the church and the war memorial). Once through the porch, you will discover our cottages on the right hand side where you can park.
You will receive the code to the main gate of the property and the keysafes 48hrs before your arrival via email.
Please, note that access to the cottage starts from 16:00 to allow for the cleaning and the maintenance to be carried out.
A digital keypad controls the opening of the property main gate. Starts by pressing the ON key: It beeps at each key once it is turned on. Enter the code received via email, then press OK to validate. Wait until the gate is open enough to move your vehicle forward. If the gate jams or is not opening, do not force the gate but make sure that you are not standing in front of the sensor. The gate closes automatically after 2 minutes.
You will need to repeat the same procedure to exit the property.
You can retrieve the key of your holiday cottage simply by using the code provided in your booking confirmation to unlock the keybox installed by the door of your cottage.
Remember of sharing the access with the other member of your group.
When you arrive, the beds will be made. We provide all bedlinen as well as a large and a small towel per person (please bring your own towels for the swimming pool/beach).
We also have a selection of cleaning products available: dishwashing liquid, floor detergent, kitchen and bathroom surfaces cleaner and some dishwasher tablets.
The swimming pools are open from May to mid-September.
They are equipped with an alarm system for safety purposes that detects movement in the water in case a child or vulnerable adult should fall in.
In order to use the swimming pool, you will have to deactivate the alarm by dialing the following code: 0410 and OK. These alarms have automatic operation and re-arm after ten minutes of inactivity.
Outside of this season, our pools are closed and covered. We ask you to remain vigilant for the safety of your family and friends, especially with the young ones.
These alarms are compulsory safety equipments. We therefor ask our clients not to temper with them.
Your cottage is equipped with a barbecue, so you may wish to bring some charcoal if you want to use it. Upon departure, we ask you to sweep up all the ashes in the metal bucket provided for this purpose.
The fireplaces of La Forêt and Le Parc cottages are made to be used, so we provide all that is required to light a fire (logs, kindling, pine cones, firestarters and lighter). Extra logs are stored under the shelter at the end of the garden.
Once you have unloaded your car, we ask you to park your vehicles on the car park to avoid blocking the cottages access.
The property is located in the heart of the village of Bourneau. We therefore ask our clients to be respectful to our neighbours and other clients by keeping noise to a minimum. We do not allow music outside and no noise after 10pm is tolerated.
